152 | Give charity with clarity

Help the poor and needy wholeheartedly. When you give the charity give it with clean heart - not to show-off. The Quran says, “If you disclose your Sadaqaat (almsgiving), it is well; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better for you.” [Quran 2:271]

Among the seven persons who will be shaded by Allah under His throne is a person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity).
